O ensino de Artes Visuais na educação infantil da Escola Municipal Nico Andrade

Abstract

This study addressed the question of teaching Visual Arts in Early Childhood Education to the children of the first and second period, with the age range between 4 and 5 years old, at the Municipal School Nico Andrade established in the municipality of Itabira/MG. Bearing presupposes the analysis of the said Rules school and as a method of data collection fieldwork, whose collection instrument was a semi - structured interview conference held with some of the older teachers, especially those who worked previously with Early Childhood Education, which could inform how education was taught in the old Municipal Art School Nico Andrade. The research continued with the implementation of a structured school teachers to the classes of current Early Childhood Education and with the observation in some classrooms, in order to examine how it is being processed teaching art to students and how this knowledge area is treated by questionnaire child. The studies were based on the works of BARBOSA (2010; 2012), FERREIRA (2012), IAVELBERG (2003), among others, as well as the guidelines of the National Curriculum Parameters of art that were the guiding principles of this study, which is still supported, the orientations of Curriculum Early Childhood Education and the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education.
