| Abstract: | As arboviroses representam um problema da saúde pública do mundo com um incremento nos últimos anos devido à dispersão do vírus, nas Américas tem ocorrido um estabelecimento definitivo do vetor pelas condições socioeconômicas e ambientais existentes. A dengue vem se apresentando de forma continuada, intercalando-se com a ocorrência de epidemias. O vírus da dengue tem quatro sorotipos biológica e geneticamente distintos, mas sorologicamente relacionados: DEN-1, DEN2, DEN-3 e DEN-4. Todos esses sorotipos causam tanto dengue clássica como hemorrágica. O município de Governador Valadares por seu clima tropical tem um ambiente propício para a disseminação da doença; com um aumento significativo do número de notificações de casos de dengue nos anos de 2016 e 2017. Sendo assim demonstra-se a necessidade de realizar ações por parte das equipes e comunidades, mais focadas na prevenção deste agravo. |
| Abstract: | Arboviruses represent a public health problem in the world with an increase in recent years due to the spread of the virus, in the Americas there has been a definitive establishment of the vector due to the existing socioeconomic and environmental conditions. Dengue has been presenting itself continuously, interspersed with the occurrence of epidemics. Dengue virus has four biologically and genetically distinct but serologically related serotypes: DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3 and DEN-4. All these serotypes cause both classical and hemorrhagic dengue. The municipality of Governador Valadares for its tropical climate has an environment conducive to the spread of the disease; with a significant increase in the number of reports of dengue cases in the years 2016 and 2017. Thus, it is demonstrated the need to carry out actions by the teams and communities, more focused on the prevention of this disease. |
