| Abstract: | In the present text, we discuss the problem of finding high order elements in nite fields. More precisely, we present this problem in two classes of extensions of finite fields: the cyclotomic extensions (...) and the Artin-Schreier extensions (...). We do not determine exactly the order of the elements (...); lower bounds are found. |
