| Abstract: | Com a busca cada vez mais por redução de custos e aumento da produtividade, é essencial a otimização de processos com ferramentas que possibilitem fabricar com o menor custo possível no menor tempo. Este estudo visa identificar os benefícios da utilização de cilindros de trabalho cromados no Laminador de Tiras a Frio (LTF) e no Laminador de Encruamento (LE) de uma Siderúrgica e verificar se é econômicamente viável em fazer um investimento inicial de R$ 210.000,00 com cromagem e transporte de cilindros e se os benefícios e custos mensais são suficientes para absorver a depreciação e IR. Foram analisados o VPL, TIR e Payback, sendo possível concluir pela viabilidade do projeto, dadas as considerações realizadas. |
| Abstract: | With the increasing search for cost reduction and increased productivity, it is essential to optimize processes with tools that make it possible to manufacture at the lowest possible cost in the shortest time. This study aims to identify the benefits of the use of chrome work cylinders in the Cold Strip Roller (LTF) and the Steel Rolling Mill (LE) of a Steel Plant and verify if it is economically feasible to make an initial investment of R$ 210,000, 00 with chrome plating and cylinder transport and if the monthly benefits and costs are sufficient to absorb depreciation and IR. The NPV, IRR and Payback were analyzed and we can conclude that the investment is feasible, according with the suppositions made. |
