| Abstract: | O Projeto de Integração do Rio São Francisco com Bacias Hidrográficas do Nordeste Setentrional do Brasil, ou como é chamado popularmente, a transposição do rio São Francisco, tem a pretensão de resolver o problema histórico da seca no nordeste setentrional do país. Como a população de um lugar, percebe e convive com as transformações, e as expectativas geradas pela transposição? Na tentativa de responder a esta pergunta, o objetivo geral desta tese é registrar, compreender, e discutir a voz dos agricultores familiares diretamente atingidos pela transposição, no município de Cabrobó (PE); contrapondo a voz destes sujeitos, com o discurso oficial dos gestores do grande empreendimento. Como revisão histórica, outras transposições também foram investigadas, incluindo as realizadas em outros países, como as do rio Tejo, na Espanha e em Portugal, pesquisadas em doutorado sanduíche, na Universidade de Coimbra, no ano de 2014. As categorias geográficas lugar e território, orientaram para o recorte e a compreensão do espaço analisado. O método fenomenologia, focando na Percepção e História Oral, valoriza a voz dos entrevistados. Como resultado, se pode afirmar que os entrevistados relataram pouca ou nenhuma expectativa positiva em relação à transposição. Disseram que realmente necessitam de água, mas notam, pela forma como a obra está sendo realizada, um desprezo e um descuido com os problemas e as necessidades que eles enfrentam. Os entrevistados relataram que a obra foi imposta e houve falta de diálogo; existe receio de que não possam vir a ter acesso as águas transpostas e ainda serem expulsos ou oprimidos por outros empreendimentos que possam ali chegar. As obras da transposição interferiram não somente nas questões ambientais e econômicas, mas em toda a estrutura social, cultural e histórica dos agricultores. Indica-se que os entrevistados entendem do lugar onde vivem e sabem trazer respostas para diversas questões. Esta tese investiga um momento e um lugar das obras da transposição. Salienta-se que este empreendimento, pela sua magnitude, necessita de uma continuidade nas investigações científicas. |
| Abstract: | The "São Francisco River Integration Project Watershed with the Northern Northeast Brazil," or as it is popularly called, the transposition of the São Francisco river, does not claim to solve the historical problem of the drought in the northern Northeast. As the population of a place, realize and live with the changes, and the expectations generated by the transposition? In an attempt to answer this question, the general objective of this thesis is to record, understand, and discuss the voice of farmers directly affected by the implementation, in the municipality of Cabrobó (PE); contrasting the voice of these subjects, with the official discourse of managers of big business. As historical review, other transpositions were also investigated, including those carried out in other countries, such as the Tagus river, in Spain and Portugal, surveyed sandwich doctorate at the University of Coimbra, in the year 2014. The geographical categories place and territory , guided to the cut and understanding of the analyzed space. The phenomenology method, focusing on "Perception" and "Oral History", values the voice of respondents. As a result, it can be said that respondents reported little or no positive expectation regarding the transposition. They said they really need water, but note, by the way the work is being carried out, contempt and disregard for the problems and needs they face. Respondents reported that the work was imposed and there was lack of dialogue; there is fear that they might not come to have access transposed the water and still be expelled or oppressed by other enterprises that can get there. Work on the transposition interfered not only on environmental and economic issues, but the entire social structure, cultural and historic farmers. It indicates that respondents understand where they live and know how to bring answers to several questions. This thesis investigates a time and place of the transposition. It stresses that this project, by its magnitude, you need a continuity in scientific research. |
