Por um urbanismo pós-crítico: a inserção da poiesis nas ciências aplicadas ao urbano

Abstract

Within a pos-critic perspective to the modern scientific rationale, this study seeks to understand how, on the long run, the diverse, Urban Master Plan of Goiânia re-founded (i.e. poetical created) the urban space of this city. We will discuss the scientific features of models and urban theories employed in this area. In the Brazilian and international contexts, we plan to understand the assumptions of these models and theories, as well as to link them to the evolution of the conflicting visions of what would be the urban planning itself. The objective is to understand how these suppositions of science applied to the urban planning, dialectic interact with the object (on this case, Goiânia). Thus these statements require the insertion of the poiesis concept into science: the invention as a measure of the scientific truth. We look for the understanding , further than the criticism, of how each formulation of urban problems generated some virtuality and blind fields. Therefore we aim to formulate an engaged objectivity of space, which would allow the inclusion of the Other as a legitimate agent producing this space. Esthetics (the poiesis) is now excluded from the universe of science applied to the production of cities. The insertion of esthetics into the core of real (now as the accomplished) is an arduous effort that this thesis will attempt to delineate. The goal is not related to the construction of a link between the historical division of Art and Urbanism (poetical and science). The intent is to enquire about the intersection within this division: a possibility which is at the same time a limit, a space of dialectic exchange (dialog), and a common space and Art and Urbanism. Based on the particular case of Goiânia, we plan to establish the possibilities of a post-critic (post-negative) strategy of social transformation. This attempt redefines the unique universality of Modern Urbanism, as well as proposes new senses to the metamorphosis of social Space (lived space, live space), which is transformed in a Fluid Field in a Trans-modern Urbanism
