| Abstract: | Esta dissertação, intitulada ENTRE TEM AR, O ESPECTADOR DENTRO E FORA DO QUADRO é uma pesquisa no campo das Poéticas Visuais, na qual, a prática artística é tecida junto à investigação teórica. Um conjunto de obras desenhos, pinturas e instalações realizadas pelo autor entre os anos de 1999 a 2005 constituem objeto de proposições e estudo. O quadro e a superfície, mediando o encontro entre espectador e obra, são analisados através dos conceitos de planaridade, decorativo, colagem e montagem. Os procedimentos de absorção do espectador pela pintura nos séculos XVII e XVIII são estudados buscando revelar na arte contemporânea procedimentos equivalentes. Aborda-se, ainda, o encaminhamento dessa prática artística da superfície do quadro ao espaço real, onde o espaço da obra e o do espectador é um e o mesmo. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation named (Coming, theres enough air) is a visual poetics research project in witch artistic practice a theory investigation intersect. A whole of works (drawings, paintings and installation art) executed by the artist between 1999 and 2005 constitutes the object of study. The painting and the surface, making possible the meeting between the viewer and the work, are analyzed through the concepts of flatness, decorative, collage, and assembly. Proceedings used to absord the viewer in XVII and XVIII centurys, are studied to revelate similar procedures in the contemporary art. The direction of this artistic practice from the surface of painting to the real space is approached, in a point of the view that puts the viewer and the work in the same place. |
