Hermenêutica filosófica e marxismo: sobre uma peculiar “ausência-presença”

Abstract

In this article, we intend to bring certain common aspects of Marx´work and philosophical hermeneutics. This will be done having in mind the Hegelian notions of objectification and alienation. Marx and the hermeneutic tradition criticize Hegel; although when the hermeneutic tradition does it, it does not take seriously enough the Marxist tradition, which, actually, deals with important themes such as the relation between spirit and nature and the matter of objectification, key aspects to the hermeneutic tradition. This tradition develops itself in a peculiar absense-presence to the Marxian thought, studied took in account by authors such as Dilthey, Heidegger, Gadamer and others in a very problematic way. Lukács, an important Marxist of the twentieth century, dealt with non-Marxist authors (as Dilthey and Heidegger, for instance); but, unfortunately, the hermeneutic tradition didn´t take the same precautions with the Marxist thought and, this tradition could gain a lot with this debate, which could lead to interesting oppositions.
