Emancipações distritais mineiras, desenvolvimento humano e equidade distributiva: em busca de indicadores de sustentabilidade

| dc.description.abstract | The Federal Constitution of 1988, by granting autonomy to the federative units over the theme of district emancipations, contributed to the emergence of a new outbreak emancipationist in Brazil. The result was the creation of more than a thousand municipalities; in Minas Overall there were 130. The question is: can we measure the degree of success of these emancipations using socioeconomic indicators that allow inferences about sustainability of these municipalities? In this research, the Development Index was used Municipal Human (HDI-M) and the Gini Coefficient. The results allowed us to gather municipalities into four classes and evaluate the dynamics of newly created municipalities in the face of to the other categories. | |

| local.description.resumo | A Constituição Federal de 1988, ao conceder autonomia às unidades federativas sobre a temática das emancipações distritais, contribuiu para que surgisse um novo surto emancipacionista no Brasil. O reflexo foi a criação de mais de mil municípios; em Minas Gerais foram 130. A questão é: pode-se medir o grau de sucesso dessas emancipações utilizando indicadores socioeconômicos que permita inferir sobre a sustentabilidade desses municípios? Nesta pesquisa foram utilizados o Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano Municipal (IDH-M) e o Coeficiente de Gini. Os resultados permitiram congregar os municípios em quatro classes e avaliar a dinâmica dos municípios recém-criados frente às outras categorias. | |
