Resumo
Este ensaio busca construir/questionar a existência de identidade(s) gay(s) através do conceito de gaydade. Para tanto, foi feito uma construção teórica sobre as correlações entre identidade e representações sociais e, a partir disso, foram resgatados aspectos sociais e estéticos de subgrupos dessa população e os desdobramentos vivenciais de cada um destes, principalmente no que tangencia à violência a cada um dos estratos da comunidade gay. Na tentativa de entender o que seria a identidade gay aponta-se que algumas estéticas são indesejadas e são alvo de violência, umas mais que outras.
Abstract
: This paper discusses the proposal to use the term 'gaydade' to talk about the gay identity(ies), for that, it discusses the existence of an aesthetic stratification of being gay in the face of heteronormative standards, since this bonding can contribute to the perpetuation and justification of violence and subordination of subjects. Thus, the essay is organized in three moments, in the first it makes correlations between identity and Social Representations, the key to reading the analysis of this text. The second moment discusses the identity aesthetics of the gay identity(ies). The third, problematizes the gay identity(ies) from the stratification of violence towards some subjects, especially those who do not correspond to the sanitized profile of an 'acceptable' gay man.
