Sujeitos gays: identidade(s), estética(s) identitária(s) e violência

Abstract

: This paper discusses the proposal to use the term 'gaydade' to talk about the gay identity(ies), for that, it discusses the existence of an aesthetic stratification of being gay in the face of heteronormative standards, since this bonding can contribute to the perpetuation and justification of violence and subordination of subjects. Thus, the essay is organized in three moments, in the first it makes correlations between identity and Social Representations, the key to reading the analysis of this text. The second moment discusses the identity aesthetics of the gay identity(ies). The third, problematizes the gay identity(ies) from the stratification of violence towards some subjects, especially those who do not correspond to the sanitized profile of an 'acceptable' gay man.
