local.description.resumoThis paper introduces a novel delay-dependent condition for static output-feedback control of Takagi–Sugeno (TS) fuzzy models with time-varying delay. A distinctive feature of the proposed approach is the local asymptotic stability of the origin of the closed-loop system, unlike other works in the literature. This ensures the correct operation of the closed-loop system since its trajectories remain inside the guaranteed region of attraction estimation obtained inside of the validity region of the TS fuzzy model. A numerical example illustrates the potential and effectiveness of the proposed conditions.
