Resumo
O objetivo do presente artigo é examinar e comparar, à luz da Análise do Discurso
Francesa (ADF), três narrativas de vida - coletadas por meio de entrevistas - de migrantes
brasileiros que vivem atualmente na Europa (França, Portugal ou Inglaterra), a fim de
apreender as representações (de si, dos outros, do mundo) que eles constroem por meio do seu
dizer. Se os resultados obtidos, por um lado, revelam a subjetividade de quem (se) conta ao
outro - já que cada sujeito é único, assim como sua história -, há, por outro lado, aspectos
similares entre suas narrativas que apontam para um “lugar enunciativo” comum: o de
migrante, com as coerções que isso implica, sobretudo, nesse caso, o fato de os três “narradores”
terem morado anteriormente em outro(s) país(es) europeu(s), o que lhes confere um olhar mais
crítico e abrangente sobre a realidade de vida na Europa. Entre os aspectos que aproximam os
três entrevistados e seus relatos, destacam-se um viés aventureiro na sua motivação para migrar e
um projeto de não retorno definitivo ao Brasil, pelo menos a curto prazo.
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine and compare in the light of French
Discourse Analysis, three life stories - collected through interviews - that were produced by
Brazilian migrants currently living in Europe (France, Portugal or England), so as to find out
their discursive representations (of themselves, of the others, of the world). If the results, on the
one hand, reveal the subjectivity of the individual that tells (himself) to the other - since each
subject is unique as well as his story - there are, on the other hand, similar aspects among their
life stories that point to a commom “enunciative place”: that of a migrant with the constraints it
implies, above all, in this case, the fact that the three “storytellers” previously lived in another
European country, which gives them a more critical understanding about the reality of life in
Europe. Among the aspects that bring the three interviewees and their stories together, there is
an adventurous bias in their motivation to migrate and a project of no definitive return to
Brazil, at least in the short term.
