Mergulho no escuro: o teatro é [no] encontro com o outro no mundo

Abstract

The research of this dissertation proposes an artistic residence in three feminine prison spaces from the notions of conviviality, performance and liminality. It was assumed that the theater is [in] a meeting with the other in the world and that the creation and sharing of letters may be a theme for a contemporary theatrical event. We work with the writing of logbooks, having as methodological reference the ethnographic perspective and the phenomenological attitude. The experience revealed the power of the arts of the scene in the proposition of intimacy encounters with the women prisoners, in the key of the theater as conviviality.
