Resumo
Este trabalho apresenta uma versão, em português, do conto Cordillera Negra, do escritor peruano Óscar Colchado Lucio, seguido de um estudo crítico, que procura problematizar as reflexões e as dificuldades encontradas no processo tradutor. Nesta parte do trabalho, discute-se a relação entre tradução e transculturação, buscando discutir seus limites e contornos. Para isso, no âmbito da tradução, consideram-se as reflexões de Antoine Berman, acerca da tradução etnocêntrica, e as de Umberto Eco, sobre a negociação na tradução; já para a discussão da transculturação, analisam-se os estudos de Fernando Ortiz e Ángel Rama. O conceito de heterogeneidade cultural, de Antonio Cornejo Polar, é o principal operador teórico problematizado nesta dissertação, que busca analisar, também, a relação entre a memória e a história, além dos limites da tradução entre o português e o espanhol em um contexto de bilinguismo, oralidade e mitologia.
Abstract
This work presents a Portuguese version of the story Cordillera Negra, written by the Peruvian author Oscar Lucio Colchado, followed by a critical study that aims at approaching the reflections and difficulties found in the process of translation. In this part, we discuss the relationship between translation and transculturation, in order to discuss its limits and borders. Therefore, in the field of translation, reflections of Antoine Berman about ethnocentric translation are considered, as well as Umberto Eco's about negotiation in translation; however for the discussion of transculturation, we analyze the Fernando Ortiz and Ángel Rama studies. The concept of cultural heterogeneity, by Antonio Cornejo Polar, is the main operator theory used in this dissertation that also seeks to analyze the relationship between memory and history and the limits of translation between Portuguese-Spanish within a context of bilingualism, mythology and oral expressions.
