Estratégias preventivas em odontogeriatria

Abstract

The objective of this work is to carry through a revision of the preventive strategies in Odontogeriatria, in view of the growth of the population of aged. For such, a bibliographical survey was carried through, beyond publications on-line. To select articles the following word-keys had been used: buccal, aged health, aging, epidemiology, odontogeriatria. It is standed out that a specific period of publication was not limited. After the survey of the material, the following stages had been covered: organization, exploratory reading and recognition of the articles that interested the research, election of the references that took care of to the intentions of the research, reading and analysis of the selected texts. Later, it was proceeded the synthesis and interpretation from the texts, as well as the organization of the information for presentation.
