Imagens teatrais na narrativa "El desierto", de Carlos Franz

Abstract

Considering the existence of theatrical images in Carlos Franz’s narrative of El desierto, a theoretical and critical analysis was made about the novel and the dialogues between the theatricality of the images and the historical contexts that permeate it at the moment it was analyzed. In order to that, it goes through a historical panorama of the Chilean Military Dictatorship, thinking which are the potencies of art when it creates works that are also understood as historiographic sources, to a reflection with philosophers who think the art in dialogue with the politics of the Contemporary. In addition, the praxis-theatrical work by the group Mulheres Míticas in the play O Deszerto is analyzed, which allows confirming the hypothesis of this dissertation through proof by experimentation. In order to analyze this corpus, a methodology based on interdisciplinary theories about the specific demands of each object of study is chosen. Accordingly, a dialogue with different historical and theoretical temporalities is intended in order to realize how these images are updated in the present.
