dc.description.abstract	This dissertation intends to present the relation between the Kantian transcendental schematism and the critique of the culture industry and anti-Semitism carried through by Theodor Adorno and Max Horkheimer in the Dialectic of Enlightenment. Regarding the critique of the culture industry, the aim is to point in which extend it appropriates the peoples capacity of schematism. In relation to anti-Semitism, to point in which extend the social and historical determination of our capacity to judge contributes, on one hand, to the heighten of anti-Semitism and, on the other hand, to the increasing intertwinement, in the enlightened western society, between the culture and barbarism.

local.description.resumo	A dissertação pretende apresentar as relações entre o esquematismo transcendental kantiano e as críticas da indústria cultural e do anti-semitismo realizadas por Theodor Adorno e Max Horkheimer na Dialética do Esclarecimento.No que diz respeito à crítica da indústria cultural, o objetivo é apontar em que medida ela se apropria da capacidade de esquematismo das pessoas. Em relação ao anti-semitismo, apontar em que medida a determinação social e histórica da nossa capacidade de julgar contribui, por um lado, para o recrudescimento do anti-semitismo e, por outro lado, para a crescente interpenetração, na sociedade ocidental esclarecida, entre a cultura e a barbárie.
