Resumo
Este estudo analisa o enfrentamento da violência doméstica contra a mulher,
destacando como a integração da rede de atendimento pode melhorar a comunicação
entre as instituições envolvidas. Nos últimos anos, a violência, em suas diversas
formas (física, psíquica e simbólica), tem se tornado um problema social e de saúde
pública significativo, exacerbado por fatores como desigualdade socioeconômica,
desemprego e urbanização.
O objetivo principal não é definir a violência, mas discuti-la e refletir sobre seus
impactos na saúde pública, além da necessidade de articulação das redes de
atendimento. A pesquisa utiliza dados de encontros técnicos realizados pela
Secretaria Nacional de Segurança Pública do Ministério da Justiça e Segurança
Pública em três cidades brasileiras, focando na eficácia do suporte oferecido às
vítimas.
A violência contra mulheres é uma questão histórica que, apesar de suas raízes
profundas, ganhou visibilidade e demanda por ação recente. Dados de pesquisas
revelam a gravidade da situação, com uma alta porcentagem de mulheres vítimas de
violência física e sexual, além de uma preocupante subnotificação de casos.
A pesquisa enfatiza a necessidade de um enfoque intersetorial, promovendo
soluções sistêmicas e integradas entre diferentes órgãos, como saúde, assistência
social, segurança pública e justiça. O estudo está estruturado em capítulos que
abordam desde a introdução do tema até considerações finais, visando fortalecer as
políticas de enfrentamento da violência contra a mulher.
Abstract
This study analyzes how to combat domestic violence against women,
highlighting how the integration of the service network can improve communication
between the institutions involved. In recent years, violence, in its various forms
(physical, psychological and symbolic), has become a significant social and public
health problem, exacerbated by factors such as socioeconomic inequality,
unemployment and urbanization.
The main objective is not to define violence, but to discuss it and reflect on its
impacts on public health, in addition to the need to coordinate care networks. The
research uses data from technical meetings held by the National Secretariat of Public
Security of the Ministry of Justice and Public Security in three Brazilian cities, focusing
on the effectiveness of the support offered to victims.
Violence against women is a historical issue that, despite its deep roots, has
recently gained visibility and demand for action. Research data reveals the
seriousness of the situation, with a high percentage of women victims of physical and
sexual violence, in addition to a worrying underreporting of cases.
The research emphasizes the need for an intersectoral approach, promoting
systemic and integrated solutions between different bodies, such as health, social
assistance, public security and justice. The study is structured into chapters that range
from the introduction of the topic to final considerations, aiming to strengthen policies
to combat violence against women.
