A indissociabilidade do ensino, pesquisa e extensão nos cursos de graduação em direito: a proposta de reformulação do projeto pedagógico do Curso de Direito da UFMG de 2016

Abstract

This paper reports on and discusses the proposed reformulation of the Pedagogical Project of the Law Course at UFMG (PPC) presented by the group reponsible for course and structure policy (NDE) and analyzed in 2016 by the academic community. The descriptive, analytical and propositional methodology was used, based on the study of bibliographical sources, empirical data and documentary sources. The reform of the PPC promoted a wide and open debate among teachers, students and administrative staff in the Faculty of Law, based on the Constitutional principle of indivisibility between teaching, research and community activities in the training of the bachelor in Law and the theoretical notions of the “pedagogy of emancipation” and “formation for autonomy”. After analyzing the researched material, it was concluded that, in spite of being well structured and able to reformulate the UFMG Law course, the proposal would need to be better debated by the academic community and reformulated in light of the needs that emerged from the initial discussion.
