Universidade, escola e comunidade na formação docente: uma nova linha de pesquisa em educação?

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to discuss whether the theme “university, school and community in teacher education” (emphasis on community) opens a new line of research in the field of Education. It is intended, through this “new” topic, to understand how the knowledge about the communities around the schools and the knowledge built in these communities contribute, if indeed they contribute, to the preparation of future schoolteachers. Research points to enormous potential in the development of this subject in the field of research on teacher education and in the practice of preparing new teachers.
