Resumo
Este artigo abordará temáticas que tem se tornado cada vez mais presentes no processo de criação das intervenções Os Floristas e Dona Juta que resultam do projeto “Aqui nesta casa chega - Residência Teatral na Cidade de Tiradentes. Abordando a relação entre a cidade, o patrimônio cultural e o turismo, a partir de uma perspectiva teatral. Num contexto delicado em que salta aos olhos o fato de que o Centro Histórico fora tomado pelas atividades ligadas ao turismo que, por um lado, foi responsável pela revitalização da cidade, por outro, acabou fazendo com que os moradores nativos fossem cada vez mais levados para habitações localizadas na periferia da cidade. Como criar um trabalho teatral que consiga promover a ponte entre estas duas realidades de maneira a problematizar as noções de pertencimento tão abaladas pelo processo de gentrificação é a questão central a ser abordada. As referências para tratar a relação do teatro e a cidade virão do diálogo com as manifestações tradicionais da cultura popular brasileira, que percebem a rua e os espaços públicos não apenas como locais de apresentação, mas como espaços de convivência, ocupados das mais variadas formas. Também serão extraídas as referências dos fazeres tradicionais, que ainda existem nos arredores, como forma de valorizar essas manifestações e também reforçar o pertencimento desse grupo hoje em desconforto com a cidade vista como pano de fundo para festivais e festas. Propondo um teatro que aconteça junto à cidade, sem que seja preciso fechar ruas ou montar palcos, uma vez que a rua e os demais espaços públicos e privados serão convertidos em locais de experimentação criativa.
Abstract
This article will address the mess that have become increasingly present in the
process of creating interventions. The Florists and Dona Juta, that result from
the project "Here in this house arrives: Theatre Residence in the City of
Tiradentes. Addressing the relationship between the city, the patrimony cultural
and tourism, from a theatrical perspective. In a delicate context in which the fact
that the historical center was taken over by activities linked to tourism, which of
the one hand, was responsible for their vitalization of the city, on the other, end
up causing the native inhabitants to be taken more and more for housing
located on’the out skirts of the city. How to create a theatrical work that can
promote the bridge between these two realities in order to problematize the
notions of belongings shaken by the process of gentrification is the central
question to be addressed. The references to address the relationship between
theater and the city will come from the dialogue with the traditional
manifestations of Brazilian popular culture, which perceive the street and public
spaces not only as places of presentation but as spaces of coexistence,
occupied in the most varied forms. Also will be extracted the references of the
traditional practices that still exist in the surroundings, as a way to value these
manifestation sand also reinforce the group's belonging today in discomfort with
the city seen as the backdrop for festival sand festivals. Proposing a theatre that
happens next to the city, without having to close streets or set upstages, once
the street and other public and private spaces will be converted into places of
creative experimentation.
