dc.description.abstractThe study presented in this dissertation aims to contribute to and dialogue with the Law literature regarding studies about the Brazilian transition, analyzing the institutional configuration of the Federal Court of Justice (STF in its Portugues acronym) during the Military Dictatorship and the changes in its institutional design implemented by the military governments, demonstrating the relationship between the Court and the Military Regime during the transition. It also analyzes the participation of the Ministers during the National Constituent Assembly of 1987, evaluating the results found in the documentary part of the research in the face of Transitional Justice and Constitutional Reconstruction Theory.
