| Abstract: | Esta dissertação de mestrado propõe investigar a reflexividade no cinema do artista iraniano Abbas Kiarostami a partir de um movimento teórico-analítico; o maior enfoque incide sobre os filmes que compõem a chamada “trilogia de Koker” – Onde Fica a Casa do Meu Amigo? (1987); E a Vida Continua (1992), também conhecido como Vida e Nada Mais; e Através das Oliveiras (1994). Busca-se lançar luz sobre como o diretor, através da experiência de realização, nutre certo desassossego curioso que acaba por engendrar um pensamento capaz de enriquecer as discussões sobre linguagem cinematográfica, suas potencialidades e seus limites. |
| Abstract: | This master dissertation proposes to investigate, from an analytical-theorical perspective, the reflexivity in the movies made by the Iranian artist Abbas Kiarostami; our main focus is on the movies that constitute the so-called “Koker's trilogy” – Where Is the Friend's House? (1987), And Life Goes On (1992), also known as Life and Nothing More, and Through the Olive Trees (1994). We seek to shed light on how this director, through the filmaking itself, creates a provoking restlessness that shapes a thought capable of enriching discussions about the language of film, considering its potential and its limits. |
