| Abstract: | Esta dissertação tem por objetivo analisar a noção da pluralidade na obra de Hannah Arendt e investigar, a partir desta análise, a compreensão específica e singular da política que o conceito de pluralidade parece engendrar no pensamento político da autora. Nossa pretensão consiste, assim, em demonstrar o caráter fundamental e central da pluralidade na reflexão arendtiana acerca da política, assim como evidenciar que Arendt, ao trazer para o centro desta reflexão, para o cerne de seu pensamento político, a condição humana da pluralidade, nos apresenta ou nos permite entrever uma concepção da política própria e distinta daquela que nos foi legada pela filosofia política tradicional. |
| Abstract: | The aim of this dissertation is to analyze the notion of plurality in Hannah Arendt’s work and to investigate, based on this analysis, the specific and singular understanding of politics that the concept of plurality seems to engender in the author’s political thought. Our intention is thus to demonstrate the fundamental and central character of plurality in Arendt's reflection on politics, as well as to show that when she brings the human condition of plurality to the center of this reflection, to the very heart of her political thought, Arendt presents us or allow us to glimpse a conception of politics that is distinct from that which has been transmitted to us by the Tradition of Political Philosophy. |
