| Title: | Sobre imaginação e fantasia: considerações sobre o ornamento |

| Abstract: | Este estudo tem por objeto a Imaginação e a Fantasia entendidas como princípios de representação nas artes visuais, e enfocada num recorte temporal que parte do Maneirismo ao advento do Rococó. Como ferramenta de análise optou-se pela observação da ornamentação de origem fitomórfica. Nesta abordagem a condição seminal da Fantasia está atrelada historicamente ao conceito de desenvolvimento e variação, que indica uma articulação de gênese criativa direta para com a Fantasia. Desenvolvida como um “Corpus” com auto-suficiência estrutural, o ornamento entre os séculos XVI e XVIII derivou numa maneira rigorosa de organização das formas e ordenou linguagens distintas. Como resultado observou-se o desenvolvimento de um gosto regido por afinidades com as variações da curva e também o advento da transição do ornamento enquanto elemento agregado para a condição de estrutura. O estudo é situado num recorte temporal quando, por um princípio de primazia técnica, se privilegiou o gosto pela imagem de caráter pictórico em sobre a linear. |
| Abstract: | The objects of this study are the conditions of Imagination and Fantasy as principles of representation in arts between the Mannerism and Rococo. The analysis was focused in the ornamentation by floral inspiration. In this case the seminal condition of the Fantasy was historically joined to the concept of development and variation. Studied as a “Corpus” with structural self-sufficiency, the ornament between centuries XVI and XVIII has derived in a rigorous way from organization forms and its commanded distinct languages to them. Was observed the development of a conducted taste for affinities with the variations of the curve and also the advent of the transition of the ornament while structure condition. |
