| Abstract: | Neste caso de ensino, busca-se problematizar a existência de práticas discriminatórias contra as minorias nas organizações, em particular as mulheres, escondidas sob um pretenso argumento técnico e de geração de resultados. Na organização estudada – que embora pública, portanto burocrática na sua essência, o que remeteria a uma perspectiva equânime na gestão, padece dos mesmos problemas verificados em outros contextos organizacionais –, mulheres são constantemente discriminadas, sendo objeto de piadas, de aviltamento e, a rigor, de discriminação por serem quem são. O caso trata de situações simultâneas de gravidez de colegas de trabalho, que geraram uma série de desdobramentos que merecem ser problematizados. |
| Abstract: | In this teaching case, we seek to problematize the existence of discriminatory practices against minorities (particularly women) in organizations, hidden under an allegedly technical and results-generating argument. In the organization studied – which, allthoug being public and therefore bureaucratic in its essence, which would lead in theory to an equitable perspective in the management, suffers from the same problems verified in other organizational contexts –, women are constantly discriminated, being joked, diminished and discriminated for being who they are. The case deals with simultaneous situations of pregnancy of co-workers, which generated a series of developments that deserve to be problematized. |
