| Abstract: | No presente estudo, realiza-se a análise de um caso de divergência textual idiossincrática dos testemunhos A 49 sup. e Typ 146da tradição latina da obra de Isaac de Nínive, a fim de discutir se isso seria resultado de um processo de cópia ou de retradução. A análise comparativa do texto grego com essas versões latinas apontou para um caso de retradução, em função de dados relativos a omissões, adições, escolhas lexicais e natureza da tradução (mais fiel e mais correta). |
| Abstract: | In the present study, an analysis of a case of idiosyncratic textual divergence in testimonies A 49 sup. and Typ 146 of the Latin tradition of Isaac of Nineveh’s work is carried out in order to discuss whether it would result from a copy or retranslation process. The comparative analysis of the Greek text with these Latin versions have pointed to a case of retranslation due to data related to omissions, additions, lexical choices and the nature of the translation (more faithful and more correct). |
