| Abstract: | Após Abhay Ashtekar [1986] introduzir um conjunto de novas variáveis que simplificam os vínculos da teoria hamiltoniana da relatividade, a busca por uma teoria de gravitação quântica ganhou novos rumos. Dada a importância que estas novas variáveis possuem para o surgimento da vertente de gravitação quântica em laços, esta dissertação tem como objetivo construir a conexão de Ashtekar de maneira matematicamente clara e consistente utilizando conexões em fibrados associados. |
| Abstract: | After Abhay Ashtekar [1986] introduced new variables that simplify the constraints of the Hamiltonian theory of relativity, the search for a theory of quantum gravity took new directions. Given the importance of these new variables have for the emergence of the loop quantum gravity, this dissertation aims to construct the Ashtekar connection in a mathematically clear and consistent way using connections in associated bundles. |
