| Abstract: | Seguindo as premissas da pesquisa artística, este trabalho surge a partir do desejo de colocar a música de concerto em interação com as artes visuais. Para isso, propõe uma experiência em que a Sonata Opus 70, número 10, de Alexander Scriabin, é tocada ao piano junto à projeção em tela de imagens generativas criadas pelo artista Henrique Roscoe. Scriabin viveu em um período de florescimento da sinestesia como recurso artístico para alcançar a obra de arte total, e sua décima sonata evoca referências extramusicais, sendo conhecida como Sonata dos insetos. Nesta experiência, sua relação com o meio visual baseia-se na teoria de multimídia defendida por Nicholas Cook (1998), utilizando o processo metafórico para estabelecer interações perceptíveis entre as diferentes mídias. A multimídia resultante foi analisada segundo seu modelo de análise para obras dessa natureza, classificando os tipos de relações estabelecidas entre os meios musical e visual. |
| Abstract: | Following the premises of artistic research, this work arises from the desire to put concert music in interaction with visual arts. To this end, it proposes an experiment in which Alexander Scriabins Sonata Op. 70 n. 10 is played on the piano next to the screen projection of generative images created by artist Henrique Roscoe. Scriabin lived in a flourishing period of synesthesia as an artistic resource to achieve the total work of art, and his tenth sonata evokes extramusical references, being known as the Insect Sonata. In this experiment, its relation to the visual medium is based on the multimedia theory advocated by Nicholas Cook (1998), using the metaphorical process to establish perceptible interactions among the different media. The resulting multimedia was analyzed according to his analysis model for works of this nature, classifying the types of relations established between the musical and visual media. |
