| Abstract: | Esta tese se vincula à linha de pesquisa da Performance Musical e apresenta um estudo sobre o Trio nº1 para piano, violino e violoncelo de Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959). Neste trabalho, é apresentado o contexto de produção da obra, por meio de um breve panorama histórico, social e cultural da época em que se situa a primeira fase da frutífera carreira de Villa-Lobos, momento em que compôs o Trio com piano, objeto do nosso estudo. O objetivo central do trabalho é identificar e analisar, na obra estudada, o idiomatismo pianístico de Villa-Lobos e isso foi possível a partir do conhecimento dos procedimentos relacionados aos aspectos técnicos pianísticos, sonoros e interpretativos do instrumento, a fim de oferecer subsídios para uma performance mais consciente. Para o cumprimento dos objetivos propostos, empregaram-se, como recursos metodológicos: revisão bibliográfica, a análise musical, escuta analítico-apreciativa de gravações da obra, estudo prático-interpretativo ao piano, além de performances públicas da obra, realizadas ao longo do trabalho de pesquisa. Como resultados da pesquisa, além da análise do idiomatismo pianístico, registram-se nesta tese alguns dos desafios que o intérprete poderá enfrentar no trabalho com o Trio nº1. Entre eles, destacam-se o equilíbrio sonoro, a realização técnica, a realização da escrita romântica virtuosística da parte do piano, as mudanças de andamento durante os movimentos, a realização do amálgama dos timbres dos três instrumentos, a manutenção rítmica do pulso, os rubati e o controle da defasagem da emissão do som do piano e cordas. Por fim apresentam-se sugestões técnico-interpretativas encontradas para o pianista e para o conjunto camerístico. |
| Abstract: | This thesis refers to a research of Musical Performance presenting a study on Heitor Villa Lobos (1887-1959) Trio # 1 for piano violin and cello. In this review, a brief analysis on the historical, social and cultural context of the period in which this composition was produced is made. The Trio appears in the first phase of the fruitful career of Villa Lobos. The main objective of this work is to identify and analyze the idiomatic pianism of Villa Lobos. This was made through knowledge of procedures related to aspects, such as technical pianistic, sound and interpretation of the instrument, offering support for a more conscious performance. In order to accomplish the objectives proposed, methodological resources as literature review, musical analysis, listening with an analytic-appreciation, recordings of the musical composition, practical interpretative study at the piano, besides public performances of the composition, were applied during period of the research. This research presented as results, an analysis of the idiomatic pianism, besides some of the challenges that the interpreter will face while working on Trio #1, which are also registered in this thesis. Among them we should highlight the sound balance, the technical achievement, the accomplishment of the romantic virtuousic writing of the piano, the changes of pace during movements, accomplishment in bonding the tone between the three instruments, the maintenance of pulse rhythm, the rubati and the control of discrepancy in sound emission between piano and strings. Finally, technical interpretive suggestions to the pianist and the chamber ensemble are presented. |
