| Abstract: | O intuito de nosso trabalho foi compreender como a música de Schönberg adquire um estatuto de conhecimento, o qual aparece sob diversas nuances na obra de Adorno. Começamos com uma investigação sobre a gênese da razão instrumental identitária na Dialética do esclarecimento, procurando estabelecer a sua relação com o fenômeno do narcisismo em Freud. Depois, fizemos uma análise da incorporação dos princípios da racionalidadeesclarecida pela música popular na indústria cultural, ressaltando o seu caráter fetichista. O terceiro capítulo faz uma exposição das características da dialética negativa de Adorno, demonstrando o seu contraste em relação à dialética do esclarecimento. Por fim, procuramos evidenciar a influência da composição de Schönberg na filosofia de Adorno, o conhecimento sócio-histórico presente nela e o auto-conhecimento proporcionado ao ouvinte. |
| Abstract: | The aim of our study was to understand how Schönbergs music acquires a status of knowledge, which appears under several nuances in Adornos work. We start by investigating the genesis of the identitary instrumental reason in the Dialectic of enlightenment, seeking to establish its relation with the phenomenon of narcissism in Freud. We then analyzed the incorporation of the principles of enlightened racionality by popular music in the culture industry, emphasizing its fetishistic aspect. The third chapter gives an exposition of the characteristics of Adornos negative dialectic demonstrating its contrast with the dialectic of enlightenment. Finally, we try to show the influence of Schönbergs composition in Adornos philosophy, the socio-historical knowledge present in it and the self-knowledge provided to the listener. |
