| Abstract: | Estudo de caráter exploratório-descritivo para verificar a existência de fatores de resistência a mudanças organizacionais na atividade dos bibliotecários de universidades e formas de assimilação das inovações ocorridas em seu ambiente de trabalho. A biblioteca universitária é caracterizada como uma organização social de serviços que deve acompanhar as alterações e evoluções do ambiente no qual se insere. As mudanças organizacionais são caracterizadas pelos seus objetivos e tipos, apresentando os fatores de resistência decorrentes. Suas formas de manifestação são analisadas, no contexto das bibliotecas universitárias. Os resultados da pesquisa revelam que o bibliotecário assimila favoravelmente as mudanças de seu meio, embora alguns fatores de resistência sejam encontrados em sua atividade. |
| Abstract: | A descriptive-exploratory study aiming to identify the existence of factors of resistence to organizational changes on the part of academic librarians and their ways of handling innovations at work. The academic library is featured as a social organization of services which has to 90 along with the alterations and evolution of the broader environment it is part of. Organizational changes are characterized by their objectives and types. presenting derived reasons for resistence. The way these factors make themselves evident are analysed in the environment of academic libraries. Results of the research reveal that librarians favorably accept changes in their work environment. although some factors of resistence may be detected in their activity. |
