| Abstract: | Esta pesquisa analisa filmes da obra do cineasta britânico Christopher Nolan (1970-), refletindo sobre as estratégias narrativas empregadas, construídas no sentido de suscitar o envolvimento do espectador com os sentimentos mais intrínsecos de suas personagens. Para isso, o cineasta elabora complexas estruturas narrativas que, em diversos casos, fogem do convencional, com montagens fragmentadas e não cronológicas, exercendo a função de potencializar a identificação do público com a história e os dramas dos protagonistas. Verifica-se esta característica como uma constante na filmografia do diretor. Como recorte, optou-se por investigar mais profundamente duas obras em que estas características aparecem de forma mais marcante: Amnésia (Memento, EUA, 2000) e A Origem (Inception, EUA/Reino Unido, 2010). |
| Abstract: | This research analyzes some of the movies of the British filmmaker Christopher Nolans (1970-) work, thinking about his narrative strategies, built in order to incite the involvement of the viewer with the characters innermost feelings. For that, the filmmaker creates complex narrative structures that, in many examples, escape the usual with fragmented and non-chronological editing, doing the part of potentialize the public self-identification with the story and the main characters tragedies. Its evident that this feature presents as a constant in the directors filmography. As a profile, its been decided to investigate more deeply two of the works in which these features appear in a more outstanding way: Memento (USA, 2000) and Inception (USA/United Kingdom, 2010). |
