| Abstract: | Esta é uma investigação sobre a potência da imagem fotográfica como mediação crítica com o espaço construído, que pressupõe duas facetas: as visibilidades colocadas em jogo pelas imagens e as maneiras de apresentação do assunto, que repercutem na percepção dos sujeitos. O ordinário é tido como elemento crucial diante da realidade dos espaços cotidianos que são constituídos majoritariamente pelo banal, recorrentemente invisibilizados pela própria familiaridade e por um sensório hegemônico que reafirma os aspectos mais icônicos e dignos das cidades. As práticas fotográficas da arte são os objetos analisados para discutir e averiguar essa qualificação da mediação, abrindo diversas questões sobre o ambiente construído, os artefatos urbanos, a paisagem da cidade e seus entornos. Os trabalhos foram organizados pela identificação de certos procedimentos que ora se aproximam de uma determinada abordagem documental e ora constituem elaborações ficcionais |
| Abstract: | This is an investigation about the potentiality of images as critical mediation with the built space that presupposes two aspects: the visibilities that are displayed by images and the ways the subjects are presented, impacting upon the individuals perceptions. The ordinary is considered a crucial component because the daily spaces are mainly constituted by banality and are recurrently rendered invisible by the familiarity and hegemonic sensibility that reaffirm the most iconic and worthy cities aspects. Arts photographic practices are the object of analysis to discuss and ascertain this qualified mediation, posing several questions about the built environment, the urban artifacts, the city's landscape and its surroundings. The works were organized by identifying certain procedures that are related to a documental approach and to fictional strategies |
