Abstract: | This is a paper that discusses how the Teaching of Science by Research (EnCI) can make a didactic proposal relevant to the understanding of subjects related to Cell Biology. For the intervention method used or the surface and potato experiment, applying an investigative methodology. The data were analyzed using the qualitative approach, using the aspects of action research and conducting audio recording of the classes after the subsequent transcription of some excerpts. For the analysis used some discursive interactions, based on the studies of Mortimer (1998), Driver (1999) and Arrigo et al. (2017). Note that students struggled to use scientific words during discussions. We usually seek to explain concepts using prior knowledge and everyday situations. This is believed to be due to the fact that students are not very familiar with the language of school science and have few opportunities to use the same gender in the science classroom. |
