| Abstract: | Este trabalho propõe um modelo hierárquico multinível para inferência de habilidades e sub-habilidades a partir da Teoria da Resposta ao Item. O modelo permite a inclusão de covaríaveis no nível da escola e o agrupamento de alunos, fatores importantes no estudo das avaliações educacionais. O modelo é aplicado aos dados do Sistema de Avaliação da Educação Básica (SAEB) 2019 e os resultados analisados frente ao modelo logístico unidimensional de três parâmetros utilizado pelo Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira. |
| Abstract: | This work proposes a hierarchical multilevel model for inferring proficiency in a discipline and its areas based on Item Response Theory. The model allows for the inclusion of school-level covariates and the clustering of students, which are important factors in the study of educational assessments. The model is applied to the data from the Basic Education Assessment System (Saeb) 2019, and the results are analyzed in comparison to the unidimensional three-parameter logistic model used by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). |
