| Abstract: | A matemática condensada é uma nova teoria desenvolvida por Dustin Clausen e Peter Scholze que tem como propósito fornecer uma maneira mais conveniente de tratar objetos algébricos equipados com uma topologia. Nesta dissertação, visamos discorrer sobre os conceitos fundamentais da matemática condensada. Nosso objetivo é destacar as principais propriedades da categoria de conjuntos condensados e demonstrar que a categoria de grupos abelianos condensados compartilha todas as boas características da categoria de grupos abelianos. Com esse propósito, abordaremos conceitos preliminares sobre topologia, teoria de categorias e teoria de feixes. |
| Abstract: | Condensed mathematics is a new theory developed by Dustin Clausen and Peter Scholze that aims to provide a more convenient way of treating algebraic objects equipped with a topology. In this dissertation, we aim to discuss the fundamental concepts of condensed mathematics. Our goal is to highlight the main properties of the category of condensed sets and demonstrate that the category of condensed abelian groups shares all the good properties of the category of abelian groups. For this purpose, we will cover preliminary concepts about topology, category theory and sheaf theory. |
